Caring about the environment/nature is one of the main goals, as well as respecting Human and Animal rights, thus we have strict terms to translate our passion.

Terms of Service

Please read these terms of use carefully before you start to use our site. By using our site, you indicate that you accept these terms of use. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please refrain from using our site.

Reliance on Information Posted & Disclaimer

The materials contained on our site are provided for general information purposes only and do not claim to be or constitute legal or other professional advice and shall not be relied upon as such.

We do not accept any responsibility for any loss which may arise from accessing or reliance on the information on this site and to the fullest extent permitted by the Irish law; we exclude all liability for loss or damages direct or indirect arising from the use of this site.

Accessing our site

Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our site (see below). We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time

Registrations

Registrations are open to the residents of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

In order to access certain features of our site and services; you must register an account, and to become a member you must be 18 years or older, anyone under 18 Years old is strictly prohibited to register or use our services unless they have a permission from their parents or guardian, in such a case the person/s responsible must observe this minor’s activity on our website on all times.

Members are encouraged to have one account only, by registering and accessing our website you certify that you meet these criteria. During the registration process, you will be required to enter your chosen username and password, our system doesn't allow duplicate usernames, and you are required to provide accurate information during this process.

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and not to share it with or otherwise give access to any third party to your account, and you take full responsibility for any activities or actions performed on your account. In the event of unauthorised access to your account please notify us immediately.

Registering as a Charity account for Non-Registered-Charity personnel with the intentions to mislead is a criminal offence. In such event, your account will be terminated and your IP address, as well as all the information entered/collected, will be reported to An Garda Síochána, and you may be prosecuted.

Celtic Zone reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided during the registration process or thereafter proves to be inaccurate, and we reserve the right to reject, modify or terminate your account if it violates any of our Terms.

Anti Spam Policy

Celtic Zone has a Zero Tolerance policy for all types of spam, spammers email addresses will be blocked, their IP addresses will be banned and spammers will be prosecuted if necessary, this rule applies to all users (No Exceptions).

Definition of Spam

Spam is unsolicited messages, in the form of email, private messaging, forum's posts, listings or comments directed to people not personally known to you, including but not limited to junk mail, chain letters or other unsolicited bulk emails, unapproved commercial advertising or any email sent that Celtic Zone reasonably believes constitutes Spam based on applicable laws and industry practices. Reviews and use of our Interactive Sections

We allow registered users to express their honest opinions. However, registered user's postings represent their opinions and experience, and not those of the Celtic Zone Team.  We do not accept any responsibility for inaccurate information, as we have no way to verify the information advertised as posted by Members.

By submitting reviews on our website you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to republish any material you submit to us in any format, and you agree only to submit your postings for publication if you own the copyright of this material, or at least to have a written permission from the copyright owner.

We reserve the right but have no obligation to amend or refuse to publish your reviews if found to be in a breach of our policies, or otherwise promoting unlawful, hateful or inappropriate material.

Listings Terms

All the new listings on our website are permanently-free throughout the website.

But there are optional upgrades with modest charges, and we reserve the right to charge for the Jobs section in the future on paid-per-listing bases.

The following practices are prohibited when submitting a listing:

• Claiming a Business listing which is owned by someone else, or other Companies.
• Distribution or promotion of surveys, chain letter, pyramid schemes or similar communications.
• Impersonating/insulting any other person or entity in your listings.
• Listing stolen, counterfeit, and illegal products, please refer to our section on the prohibited items.
• Posting spam of any kind, including but not limited to unsolicited or blatant advertising materials.
• Posting adult, pornographic, sexually offensive, sexually explicit, and harmful to minors or objectifying materials.

• Posting offensive posts, links or images.

• Posting links to warez, warez sites or other stolen/cracked-software websites.
• Providing false/misleading information.
• Requesting to remove or alter any Reviews in any way; unless the review is unfair or violates our terms and conditions.

• Storing and collecting personal data about other users without their consent and approval, or invading their privacy in any way.

• Submitting unlawful, patent, trade-secret or copyright-infringing materials.

• Tickets Touting (Selling Event Tickets at highly-inflated prices).

• Trying to hack into our website, infect it with worms, viruses, trojans malware or any kind of harmful behaviour will not be tolerated. In such event, your IP address and any information our system collects will be reported to An Garda Síochána. Offenders will be prosecuted.
• Use of discriminating materials against Gender, Nationality, Religion, Age, Race, Colour, Ethnic Origin or any Personal Attributes.
• Use of rude, defamatory and obscene expressions.
• Use of personal information, contact information and social networks accounts’ which belongs to others, including any links relating to those accounts.

By using the Celtic Zone website you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Your username will be displayed in your profile, ads, reviews and online users list.
• As a Member, you have the option of granting Celtic Zone access to your account with certain third-party social media and networking sites in order to log in our website.
• We reserve the right to share your listings including any media files (Pictures and Videos) in posts on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, etc.
• Members may post/share listing & review materials on our website, by making it available members hereby grant to Celtic Zone a worldwide, irrevocable, transferable, royalty-free license with the right to sublicense, use, copy, modify, distribute, license and publicly display such user contents on our website and our social media accounts.
• You are solely responsible for all your communications, materials and interactions on our website. Celtic Zone does not and can not investigate the identity of any users or services provided by members on our Website, unless requested to do so by An Garda Síochána .
• As a Seller, please use accurate and truthful details in your listings. If you list your item using the BuyNow feature; you are obliged to complete the transaction in a responsible manner, and deliver the promised goods/services according to the description in your listing.
• As a Buyer, you are obliged to pay for goods/services you purchased by using the BuyNow feature and complete the transaction. If the service received from the seller was less than satisfactory; please contact the seller to solve the issue before leaving a negative feedback.
• We strongly recommend not disclosing your personal information to other users, and in the event of you sharing such information with other users; Celtic Zone does not accept the responsibility for any consequences that may occur under such circumstances.
• We recommend taking precautions when interacting with other users. if you decide to meet other users offline; you agree that you might be exposed to situations which Celtic Zone will not accept responsibility or liability for. Please refer to our safety section(Link).
• In the unfortunate event of being exposed to offensive materials from other members; please report it immediately to us, in such a case you agree to waive any legal or equitable rights you might have against Celtic Zone in such a respect.
• Show respect and courtesy to other members, please don’t use profane language and don't post any messages to promote hate, flaming or otherwise any posts which may cause discomfort to other users, this is a friendly website and will remain as such.
• By buying an item using the (BuyNow) option you are entering a contract with the buyer and you are obliged to pay using Paypal. In the event of non-payment and receiving a negative feedback from the seller; this rating will not be removed from your profile unless you complete the transaction.
• Commercial merchandise sold by business sellers must meet the European standards and does not violate any Irish or European laws.
• Never threaten other members. Threats will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate termination of your account.
• By using our website; members are not given permission/licence to use the trademarks, designs or logos of any products sold here including the use of our trademark.
• We care about the safety and the well being of all our website users, Please report any suspicious ads to ourselves by using the reporting button on the ad and to the local authorities, we thank you for your cooperation.

Disputes

Disputes between members

Our website is a trading platform for sellers and buyers which is provided as is, and does get involved in any transaction between the two parties. In the event of a dispute; it is up to both parties to reach an agreement. if this is not possible you may contact Paypal if goods are paid for using this platform, or the appropriate authority.

Celtic Zone cannot and will not be able to be involved in such disputes.

By using the website; you agree that you are taking a risk by trading with other members who may be using false identities or could be potential fraudsters. In the unfortunate event of being exposed to such situations; you will be solely responsible to solve the issue and report the matter to An Garda Síochána. Celtic Zone cannot verify nor authenticate the identity of its members or the items being listed for sale.

If you suspect any listing on our website; please report it immediately and we will investigate it as soon as possible.   

Pets /Animal welfare

We do not allow selling pets on our website but we allow selling farm animals.

We need to point out the following, and unless in compliance please do not use our website, Ads will be removed immediately if found in breach and reported to the appropriate official departments, we take animal welfare very seriously, please read the following legal requirements:

It is illegal to give away animals less than 8 weeks old, Foals must be at least 8 months old, it is also illegal to transfer animals in the post anywhere including internationally.

The Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 include provision for increased powers for authorised officers to investigate complaints of animal cruelty and stricter penalties on convictions.

New penalties for convictions include powers granted to a judge to ban a person from owning an animal and a maximum five-year prison sentence.

Payments

Direct Paypal Payments between Sellers & Buyers:

This payment feature is provided by Celtic Zone for the convenience of our members to facilitate the sale, and promote distant selling for a better overall experience.

In the event of a dispute between the Buyer and the Seller, Buyers are advised to open a dispute under their Paypal’s account and to follow up the dispute with Paypal directly, Celtic Zone cannot and will not be responsible for any disputes between the two parties.

Accepted payments for listing upgrades:

Paypal (The Safest Way to pay for goods on the internet) please ensure you do so as a Business transaction and NOT family and friends.

Stripe Ireland: You can pay by your Debit or Credit Card.

More convenient payment methods will be introduced soon.

Monies Paid: Upgrade fees paid for your advertisement once placed; the charge is non-refundable. We reserve the right to remove any advertisements and block user’s accounts that do not conform to our Terms and conditions.

Featured listings will be published at the top of all listings, all prices for featured listings and upgrades are outlined HERE.

Videos are included in all listings as a basic free feature on our website, you may upload your videos to services such as YouTube or Vimeo for the sole purpose of the related advertisement. Should we find this is not the case,  Celtic Zone will remove the link without due notice and for not conforming to our advertising standards.

Hotel and Flight Bookings

Celtic Zone offers its customers the ability to compare holiday offers as well as making flight and hotel bookings.

This facility is provided by a third-party supplier without leaving the Celtic Zone website, and provided for the convenience of our customers. By making a booking; you accept that you are entering an agreement with a third party, and any details you provide during this process are legitimate and free from fraudulent or false information.

By making bookings you agree and understand that any modifications or cancellations needed are to be requested directly from the third party you have made the booking with, and you also agree to the terms & conditions of that supplier, their privacy policy and any rules outlined on their website. Celtic Zone is not a travel agency, does not provide accommodations or transportations and will not get involved in any of these procedures.

We are not responsible for the accuracy of information provided by our third party suppliers; in case of any disputes with these suppliers, it is the responsibility of the customer and the supplier to solve. Celtic Zone does not accept liability with respect to errors, representations, negligence, damages, death or personal injury as a result of using our suppliers' services.

System Updates

To improve our services and secure our website; we carry system updates periodically. On the rare occasion, some data (such as the ads) may become corrupt or lost. in such an event, we restore the system to a previous state from backups taken on different occasions daily, but we may not be able to recover all the ads. If this very rare occasion occurs; Members will need to re-enter their ads and we won’t be liable for any financial, emotional or any type of loss caused by the loss of this information.

Jurisdiction and applicable law

The European courts will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from or related to a visit to our site.
